Free Guide Tour A free guided tour in French is offered from Sunday to Thursday at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 12 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. (only in July and August)
The visioguide : tour with avec augmented reality Using tablets, enjoy an even more educational visit with virtual images which bring the past alive. This technique guarantees total immersion: the 3D reconstruction fits perfectly on the existing architecture and a wheel of time lets you transparently see what the Amphitheatre looked like in the 2nd century AD or the 17th century.

The audio guide For a self-guided tour of the Arena, you are offered a free audio-guide on your arrival. From the terraces to the interior of galleries, not forgetting the arena itself, you have a complete view of the architecture and the history of the monument. Available in 10 languages : french, english, german, spanish, italian, dutch, portuguese, russian, japanese and chinese.
The activity book for children This activity book is available free for children aged 7 to 12 on admission to every Culturespaces site. It helps them to learn while they're enjoying themselves, and discover a historic site in a fun way, through various games and puzzles. They will be accompanied throughout their visit by Hugo and Lea, two mischievous children who travel around France to visit Culturespaces sites.
The multimedia table An interactive mediation tool, this table presents an overview of the development of the city of Nîmes, by enabling visitors to browse through archive documents, find information, photographs, 3D models, and construction plans of the various monuments in Nîmes. It illustrates, in particular, the various forms of the Tour Magne over the centuries to provide an understanding of the role it has played in the urban planning in Nîmes. The table’s size enables several people to use it at the same time, making it a user-friendly device suitable for families.
The panoramic table From the summit of the Tour Magne, enjoy the splendid view over the city of Nîmes: the Porte d'Auguste, the Maison Carrée, the Castellum, and so on. The panoramic table helps visitors to easily locate the city’s main monuments.
A 3D tactile model of the Amphitheatre, measuring 1.64 x 1.04 m, takes the visitors to the second century CE. Located at the beginning of the visit’s itinerary, in the first archway entrance of the Amphitheatre, this scale model (1:150) illustrates the overall external architecture of the Amphitheatre, with its façades, stands, and corridors. The model is designed to be touched and is accessible for persons with disabilities and young persons. It perfectly illustrates the reliefs, architecture, and history.
Visits with audio descriptions: the audio guide is an essential tool for visits and is available in audio description for persons who are blind or visually impaired. It provides a visual description of the various sites and the routes that enable visitors to move with ease from one site to the next.
A visual guide in sign language: the use of visual guides in tablet form that make the visit even more educational, thanks in particular to augmented reality, has been extended to sign language and is available for persons suffering from deafness or hearing disorders (French Sign Language video).
